About This Service

Stonework That Solves Problems

A patio that has settled, a walkway that wanders, or a backyard with nowhere to sit — stonework solves more problems than most homeowners expect. Good hardscaping changes how a property is used, not just how it looks.

We design and build patios, walkways, and retaining walls that sit level, drain properly, and look better as they age. The right material and the right base matter as much as the surface you see.

Every project starts with understanding the site — grade, drainage, use, and how the space connects to what's already there. The proposal comes from that conversation.

What We Build

  • Patios — bluestone, pavers, or natural stone
  • Walkways and entry paths
  • Retaining walls
  • Steps and grade transitions
  • Edging and border work

Where We Do This Work

Hardscaping & Patios for homeowners in our core Camden County towns — and communities within a reasonable drive of where we're already working.

Common Questions

How long does a patio last in South Jersey's climate?

That depends far more on the base than the surface. Camden County's soils hold moisture, and water that freezes under a patio lifts it. That's why base preparation matters: proper excavation depth, stone compacted in layers, and a surface pitched away from the house. Built that way, both bluestone and quality pavers can hold their level for decades.

Do you build with bluestone or concrete pavers?

Both. Bluestone is the regional classic and ages beautifully — our completed Cherry Hill patio is bluestone set with tight, even joints. Pavers offer engineered consistency and a wider style range. The walk-through is where we match the material to the property and budget.

Do I need a wall, or just better grading?

Sometimes neither — and we'll say so. Retaining walls solve real grade problems, but plenty of slopes are better handled with planting and regrading. The written proposal comes after the on-site walk-through — from looking at the actual site, not from a price sheet.

How does a hardscaping estimate work?

Adam walks the site with you, looks at grade, drainage, and access, and follows up with a written proposal. No verbal quotes, no pressure to decide on the spot.
