About This Service
Plantings With a Plan Behind Them
When the beds feel like an afterthought, the whole property reads unfinished. Good planting design doesn't just fill space — it gives the property structure, seasonal interest, and a sense of intention.
We plan and install plantings suited to South Jersey's climate. That means selecting species for the actual soil, sun exposure, and moisture conditions of each spot — not the species that are in the nursery that week.
The goal is a planting that establishes well, holds its shape without constant intervention, and improves over time. We plan for five years out, not five weeks.
What We Design & Install

- Perennial border planning and installation
- Mixed shrub and tree plantings
- Seasonal color and interest planning

Where We Do This Work
Landscape Design & Installation for homeowners in our core Camden County towns — and communities within a reasonable drive of where we're already working.
Common Questions
How do you choose plants for South Jersey yards?
For the conditions the yard actually has — light, soil, moisture, and USDA zone 7 winters — and for how the planting will look in five years, not just the week it goes in. Our completed work ranges from clipped formal boxwood in Haddonfield to layered perennials under mature canopy in Voorhees.
Can you work with what's already planted?
Yes, and we prefer to. The walk-through starts with what's worth keeping. Established plants that suit the site are an asset — removal is only proposed when a plant is failing, misplaced, or fighting the design.
Do you handle both the design and the installation?
Yes. Hunt Premier is owner-operated: the person who plans the beds is the person who installs them. Nothing is handed off to a subcontractor.
What does a design project cost?
It depends entirely on scope — which is why every project starts with a free on-site walk-through and ends with a written proposal you can review on your own time.
